Position Summary

At Cloud Rx, the Vice President, Pharmacy Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the pharmacy operations to ensure efficiency, regulatory compliance, and superior patient care. This role includes leading strategic initiatives, optimizing operational workflows, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive business growth. The Vice President will work closely with the executive team while leading and supporting their team to align pharmacy operations with the overall strategic goals of Cloud Rx, ensuring that the Company maintains its competitive edge in the industry. This position is pivotal in ensuring that our pharmacy services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans for pharmacy operations that align with the company’s goals. Provide visionary leadership to the pharmacy team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including process and prescription processing management, staffing, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes. Use data-driven analysis to guide decision-making and track the success of initiatives.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including IT, Finance, and Clinical Services, to ensure cohesive operations. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the pharmacy operations team. Ensure that staff are trained and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all pharmacy operations comply with state and federal regulations, including maintaining all necessary licenses and certifications.

Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach in all operations, ensuring that the needs of patients, clients, and partners are met with the highest levels of service.

Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for the pharmacy department, ensuring that financial goals are met. Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.

Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) preferred.

7+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

Extensive experience in managing large pharmacy teams and complex operations.

Experience in specialty pharmacy, managed care, or PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) is highly desirable.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in pharmacy management software and other relevant technology.
