Our locations span across the country and we continue to grow every day.We are seeking out individuals versed in sales with a management and fitness background. If selected theapplicant must be able to complete two weeks of training where they will learn our modalities as well ashow to manage a location.
Objectives of this RoleThe General Manager (GM) is responsible for the successful operations and financial accountability of allareas of the studio. The GM orchestrates delivery of superior customer service, achievement ofemployees, customer satisfaction and performance relative to studio objectives. The Assistant GM executes theimplementation strategy and ongoing management of companywide standards for key operationalactivities, programs and goals throughout the studio. The GM communicates with the regional managerand corporate managers regularly or when deemed necessary. The GM provides leadership, direction andsupport to all direct reports. AGM is directly responsible for managing all employees of the store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring theircompletion, while accomplishing your own goals· Enforce all Stretch Zone corporate policies, business practices, systems and processes· Contribute to and maintain the Culture of Stretch Zone*· Encourage and motivate clients throughout their stretch sessions· Exhibit leadership by engaging in all studio activities (lead by example)· Drive new and existing client membership sales through outside sales, lead generation,business development efforts and client retention efforts· Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service· Provide effective decision making regarding customer service issues· Plan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis, using Stretch Zone tools foreffective outreach and community involvement. In addition, marketing outside and atcommunity events is a must.· Responsible for ensuring that the studio is clean, maintained and operationally sound· Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved· Manage the staff schedule· Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS· Strong communication, sales and customer service skills required· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person, via the telephone and email· Preferred background: Exercise, Health or Recreational Science Degree, Massage Therapist,Personal Trainer or Sports Coach, Physical Therapist, PT Aide, Chiropractor, Pilates, YogaInstructor, or Dance Instructor· Have at least 2+ years of fitness, health or wellness sales experience· A strong and demonstrated affinity for and/or experience in the Health, Wellness & Fitnessindustry are preferred· Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday· Professional, punctual, reliable and neat· Strong attention to detail and accuracy· Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information· Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment· Ability to multi-task and manage client and staff concerns· Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with Studio Owner· Proficient computer skills required· Ability to work and function in a TEAM environment· Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed
