Founded in 2015 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Stretch Zone is the industry leader in offering one-on-one practitioner assisted stretching. Our locations span across the country and we continue to grow every day. If selected, the applicant must be able to complete two weeks of training where they will learn our modalities as well as how to manage a location.
Job Description
The Studio Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for the successful operations and financial accountability of all areas of the studio, including driving studio sales and memberships. This role is comprised of 70-80% sales, and 20-30% staff management and studio operations. The AGM will orchestrate delivery of superior customer service, achievement of employees, customer satisfaction and performance relative to studio objectives. The AGM executes the implementation strategy and ongoing management of companywide standards for key operational activities, programs and goals throughout the studio. The AGM regularly communicates with the regional manager and/or studio owners as scheduled and when necessary.
Operational Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring their completion, while accomplishing your own goalsEnforce all Stretch Zone corporate policies, business practices, systems and processesProvide and maintain the highest level of customer serviceProvide effective decision making regarding customer service issuesPlan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis, using Stretch Zone tools for effective outreach and community involvement.Responsible for ensuring that the studio is clean, maintained and operationally soundProvide leadership, direction and support to all direct reports/employees of the studioResolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involvedSkills and Qualifications
Energetic, forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional imageAbove-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skillsBackground, certification and/or working expertise in corrective exercise, fitness, massage therapy and/or body physiologyConfident in generating personal sales and training team in customer service and salesAbility to work independently and collaborate well with coworkersGood educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentorDetail oriented individual who is committed to developing people; and has the ability to motivate, lead and hold employees accountableStrong working knowledge of operational proceduresStrategic contributor in long and short range strategic planningPhysical stamina to lift and move clients and spend up to 6-8 hours standing and performing stretchesPreferred Job Qualifications
Proven sales and management leadership REQUIRED!Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clientsMin 2-3 years of previous sales experience requiredMin 2-3 years of management experience requiredPrevious management experience in the health & fitness industry strongly recommendedStrong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanorSolid verbal and written communication skills requiredAbility to manage client and staff concernsConfident in generating personal sales and training team in salesStrong computer skills required with knowledge of MS office programs (Excel, Word)Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years of management experience preferredAbility to work and function in a TEAM environmentFlexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as neededHealth & Fitness minded people with a passion for fitness strongly preferredCompensation & Benefits
