Knox Classical Academy is seeking an exemplary, Christ-centered leader committed to excellence to serve as Head of School. This role involves faithfully honoring, upholding, and furthering the school's mission and vision.About Knox Classical Academy:
Located in the Twin Cities, Knox Classical Academy opened in fall 2023 with 68 students (K-12). Knox offers a three-day week classical education with blended classrooms in a Christ-centered community, aiming to cultivate lifelong learners and seekers of truth.Key Responsibilities:Direct and implement the school’s curriculum, policies, and procedures.Work closely with the interim Head of School for a smooth transition.Provide classroom instruction during the 2024-25 academic year and as needed.Uphold the mission and vision of the school, instilling biblical values.Manage teachers, recruit and hire staff, and maintain a nurturing educational environment.Lead in curricular development and school handbook implementation.Engage with families regarding academic and discipline concerns, and function as a “chaplain” for students and faculty.Requirements
Qualifications:Member in good standing at a faithful, gospel-centered church.Commitment to the orthodox Christian faith and historical Christian ethics.Strong organizational and communication (both written and oral) skills.Experience as an administrator or teacher in a classical school (preferred).Strategic thinker and proactive problem solver.Understands how to discipline the "whole child" in an academic environment.How to Apply
