Job Title: Technology Specialist

Job Summary: Heritage Classical Academy is seeking a qualified Technology Specialist. Applicants should possess a vibrant Christian testimony demonstrating a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Applicants should also fully support HCA's Statement of Faith and be excited about the great tradition of classical Christian education. The ideal applicant has a background in software/technology with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Biblical Expectations: All employees of Heritage Classical Academy possess a Christian testimony demonstrating a personal, active, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. They also fully support HCA's Statement of Faith and support the mission to Cultivate Lifelong Learners Who Think and Live for Christ.
Job Requirements:
Full support of Heritage's Statement of Faith, Mission, and Vision statementsProficiency in Microsoft Office ProgramsMastery of the school's SIS (FACTS) and ability to troubleshoot4 year degree preferredMust have software/technology experienceGood interpersonal and communication skillsJob Responsibilities:
Conduct oneself with Christ-like professional behaviorUphold the mission of Heritage Classical Academy, embodying the Portrait of an HCA Faculty MemberUpdate and maintain computers, both hardware and softwareUpdate and maintain computer and Chromebook recordsMaintain server and all connectionsRepair computers and ChromebooksTrain teachers and staff in use of emails and new technologyAssist with purchasing all teacher computers and student ChromebooksCreate and maintain policies for emailsUpdate and maintain Chromebook/email policy for studentsUtilizes GoGuardian-set up accounts and assist with monitoringUtilizes Edutyping-create accounts and set up for students/teachersCreate classes and generate course schedules for teachers and studentsUpdate and maintain all student records including grades, report cards, portfolios, and transcriptsCreate custom templates for report cards, transcripts, etc.Provide training and support to teachers and staff with FACTSOrganize parent/teacher conferences through FACTSTroubleshoot issues with FACTSUpdate calendar/eventsMaintain HCA custom appAbout Heritage Classical Academy:
