Title: Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Consumer Pricing)Location: Remote USJob Description: Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Software Engineer to join our Consumer Pricing team. We are responsible for developing and maintaining the critical services and platforms absolutely essential to Affirm’s business success. Ensuring high availability is paramount, and we adhere to best practices to achieve this. Our impactful projects include redesigning pricing data models for enhanced scalability and creating new platforms for experimenting with various pricing configurations, helping us find the most optimal solutions for our clients and customers. This role is critical to Affirm’s business, enabling a robust, scalable and timely price management for Affirm products across the locales we operate in.What You’ll DoBuild, optimize, and scale Pricing tools and user interfaces to provide the best payment options for Affirm customers.Build and maintain services that store the pricing data.Plan, design, communicate and implement reliable, scalable and extensible software systems.Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to define and deliver on our product and technical roadmaps.Evangelize software development best practices.Lead others with examples to establish a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, high degree of craftsmanship and personal growth.Facilitate technical discussions and plans to improve our software quality.What We Look ForFluent in frontend and full stack development.Proficiency in Javascript, React, CSS, Python or similar programming languages and Mysql.Prior experience in architecting, building, launching and maintaining complex software systems.Strong cross-team communication and collaboration.Prior startup experience or financial systems (Bank, Treasury, Payments, Trading, Portfolio Management) experience is a plus.Pay Grade
