www.adainfrastructure.com .SummaryUnder the direction of the SVP, Data Center Delivery, the Director, Data Center Procurement is a leadership role responsible for providing the global strategy for the long lead equipment (generators, transformers, chillers, etc.) with opportunities to expand to other areas for the business. Procurement Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive category-based procurement plans to effectively deliver against project goals on budget and schedule. Maintain and execute the construction contracting strategies for large, complex data center construction projects to ensure optimal cost and sufficient continuity of supply and services.Negotiation: Develop pricing and negotiation strategies and ensure that strategies clearly articulate the tradeoffs, roles, and responsibilities across parties. Identify negotiation setbacks and take action to mitigate contract disagreements.Supplier Selection: Create the process and RFP and minimum requirements for supplier selection. Production planning and capacity analysis.Maintain strong relationships with all the vendors of the program, at global and regional levels.Coordinate with the construction managers in all regions. Adapt the global standards and processes to the singularities of the regions from the technical and cultural standpoint.Contracting: Understand industry contracting norms and requirements; participate in negotiation of contracts that meet business goals. Execute contracts and comply with established control processes to ensure delivery and execution on contracts in alignment with business requirements.Contract Oversight: Monitor key elements of supplier performance to contracted requirements; implement corrective action and lessons learned. Manage contract and change order negotiation.Identify cost reduction opportunities and work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive cost competitiveness.Continuous Improvement: Always seek ways to streamline, automate, and simplify processes; includes deployment of tools, using data analytics, and working with IT groups to define system requirements. Organize strategy for performance reviews.

Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Procurement related field and 10+ years’ experience in Construction Management or Construction Procurement related field OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, AND 5+ years experience in Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations OR equivalent experience.5+ years’ experience with large complex capital projects.Knowledge of the data center industry and experience managing a variety of project delivery methods - ability to lead a project team in defining risk and developing the appropriate contracting.Technical ability to write contracts, ability to set up sourcing plans and negotiation strategies and execute them.Familiarity with common process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six-Sigma, etc.) and ability to facilitate change management.Ability to implement new processes and gain buy-in from a cross-functional team.Must be able to drive sourcing strategy and supply chain execution for multiple categories.Able to integrate successfully into large-scale construction projects and large dollar contracts in excess of $200 Million.Thrives in a fast-paced and continuously developing environment.Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, communication, and collaboration in a team environment.Self-starter with superior analytical skills; a problem solver with an astute attention to detail.Possesses good judgment, honesty, and utmost integrity.

Actual compensation offered will be finalized at offer and may be above the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry-specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer represents the components of our total package.
