Your work will include, but not be limited to:Interviewing client to determine client's assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectivesAnalyzing client's financial status, designing and developing timely financial plan and procedures based on analysis of data, and discussing financial options with clientPreparing and reviewing documents to implement plan selected by clientPerforming recurring quality control procedures on account activityMaintaining contact with client to revise existing plan based on modified needs of client or changes in investment marketPractice Development activities: Meeting and networking with potential clients to identify new opportunities and grow practice; managing a portfolio of decision makers in ways that create referrals and referencesThe qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is requiredCandidate should be a CFP or obtaining CFP status3+ years of experience as a Financial Planner or equivalent experienceHigh technical knowledge of legal restrictions and laws concerning retirement plans, tax shelters, insurance, and trustsSkilled at working with numbers and budgets and be able to understand complicated financial and legal documentsClient service orientation combined with creative problem solving skillsKnowledge of automated trade, research, custodial relationship systems is highly preferredThis position may be filled as a Senior Advisor or Manager depending on applicable experience and qualificationsOur difference.
