You must have dynamic leadership, communication, and collaborative skills to lead a business-oriented finance function comprised of regional teams supporting business in many locations. The location of the position is expected to be in Arlington and will follow our hybrid model of in-office working 2-3 days/week.You will be supporting the Managing Director and the American Leadership Team and heading our Business Finance Organization in the US including smaller subsidiaries.The Finance Director will be the Financial Business Partner for the Leadership Team of Ramboll in the Americas on our strategic growth journey.Your key tasks and responsibilities as Finance Director will be:Supporting the Managing Director of Ramboll Americas on strategic development initiatives and being an active part of the Leadership team to drive profitable growth, cost control, and efficient working capital management.Assuring solid financial management support to M&A processes and leadership of post-merger-integration processes in the US to achieve the strategic growth ambitions for Ramboll in the Americas, particularly the United States, including development of the office footprint.Overseeing financial processes for the Americas Business Units including financial plans, budgets, forecasts to support strategic decision-making, ensuring financial stability and accurate and timely financial reporting to the Americas Business Unit and on behalf of Americas to Group Executives.Identifying and managing financial risks for the Business Unit and developing strategies for managing.Your key tasks and responsibilities as Head of Business Finance will be:Consolidate and develop the team of Financial Business Partner, Business and Project Controllers to increase competences and manage team performance.Ensure continued development of the Business Finance setup to be Financial Business Partners to the business, including more complex and strategic financial advisory.Communicate effectively with business and global leadership to ensure that the business receives excellent assistance and service, so business development activities are executed properly.Overall responsibility for the correctness of project and business finances ensuring that reported figures give a true and fair view.Drive implementation of process improvements, alignment of operational guidelines, and gradually shift team focus to more value-adding and forward-leaning financial performance management support.Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies & procedures.Coaching and mentoring of the finance teams in Americas.You will be closely collaborating with the Head of Finance & Accounting, Americas who is heading the accounting processes, statutory accounts, tax, etc. The Head of F&A is reporting to the global Head of Finance & Accounting with a dotted reporting line to you.
