Logistics Analyst (Global Network Management Center)
Full-time Expeditors is a Fortune 500 service-based logistics company with headquarters in Seattle, Washington, United States. At Expeditors, we generate highly optimized and customized supply chain solutions for our clients with unified technology systems integrated through a global network of 331 locations in 109 countries on 6 continents. As a service-based company, we don’t own the aircraft, ships, or trucks we use every day. This means we can be highly flexible in our approach to supply chain management, and very effective at finding the best route and pricing options. Global supply chain management is what we do, but at the heart of Expeditors you will find professionalism, leadership, and a friendly environment, all of which foster an innovative, customer service-based approach to logistics. This is an entry-level job. Communication, data competency, and exception management form the bedrock of customer service for agents in the NMC.
Communication
that is timely, clear, and professional is core to the service offerings supported by the NMC.
Data competency , and the ability to evaluate data for its quality and completeness, is crucial to ensuring that you and your team are well-equipped to perform essential duties for the customer or for our network. Finally,
exception management
occurs when an agent takes data competency and communication together and uses them to resolve in-transit exceptions before the customer is affected. NMC agents will often be the ‘first line’ of communications, meaning that this role is perfect for both honing one’s craft, as well as gaining fast exposure to a vast and exciting network of peers. The ideal candidate is energetic, enthusiastic, detailed-oriented, and obsessive about providing solutions to those who are in need. This person should be as equally comfortable working in a team as they are being the one person at the forefront of uncovering issues and providing solutions. Major Duties and Focus Areas Customer Communication : professional and timely response to customer and network inquiries. Data Competency : ensuring complete, accurate, and timely data for all shipments, including managing EDI transmissions and the integrity of internal and external reporting. Exception Management : using reporting, dashboards, and other tools to manage in-transit exceptions and provide network visibility to performance and process exceptions. Desired Qualifications Fluent in Romanian Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Data Science, Finance, Economics or related field One year of work experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or related field Need to be currently based in Europe. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
