We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Strategic Analyst. As a Strategic Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis, generating insights, and providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and support decision-making processes.

Chicago, IllinoisTHIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:Work within the team to understand the business requirements and goals.Conduct comprehensive analysis of market trends, industry landscapes, and competitive dynamics to identify strategic opportunities and threats.Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze data, including financial statements, market research reports, and internal performance metrics.Communicate newly discovered insights based on analysis to the team in a manner that they can leverage in their business.Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.Monitor and evaluate the implementation of strategic initiatives, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.Generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on data-driven analysis and industry best practices.Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather data, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and measure business performance against strategic objectives.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in strategic analysis and business intelligence.Other duties as assigned.DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:Proven experience (2-3 years) in strategic analysis, business intelligence, management consulting, or a related role.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python/R).Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear and actionable insights.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business impact and innovation.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.Knowledge of industry frameworks (e.g., SWOT analysis, Porter's Five Forces) and strategic planning methodologies.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s/ Masters/Ph.D degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or another highly quantitative field.Strong understanding of the Finance model.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Previous internship experience in Finance is a plus, but not required.Certified Analytics Professional (CAP).Bachelor’s degree or master’s in finance or BA.Previous Finance experience.Digital Factory is an equal opportunity employer, committed to recruiting, hiring, and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds, regardless of sex; race; color; creed; national origin; religion; age; marital status; pregnancy; physical, disability; sexual orientation; gender identity or any other basis protected by federal, state or local law.
