The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading and developing our recruiters and overseeing the full life cycle of the recruiting process. You will be responsible for keeping abreast of industry and market trends and innovating approaches to solve evolving business challenges. You will lead through partnership and work closely with our recruiters to ensure they have the resources, training, and support they need to provide best-in-class service to hiring managers and candidates alike.In partnership with the Talent Lead, you will uphold the strategy for talent acquisition across the company, maintaining a clear focus on relationship management, candidate generation, employer branding, candidate experience, and strategy. You will independently execute on strategic and operational projects and programs for the agency. You will function as a subject matter expert on the recruitment process and strategies, helping to establish best practices; building, maintaining, and updating documentation as needed. You will also contribute to training initiatives both within the Talent team and across the organization.You will also serve as a lead recruiter, managing a diverse pipeline of candidates and actively managing all senior-level and specialized searches. It is imperative that you be highly adaptable, able to manage a high volume of operational work and individual requisitions simultaneously without sacrificing quality, communication, or candidate experience. This role is ideal for a process-oriented individual.PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring onsite collaboration an average of 3 days/week. The role is based out of our Chicago office located at 35 West Wacker Drive and all candidates must be local to the Chicago metro area and willing to commute into that office on a regular basis.Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and develop strategic partnerships: partner closely with brand US brand leaders and managers to gain insights on their business and develop and implement strategies to provide innovative solutions to meet the staffing needs of the organization.Effectively manage consultative relationships with multiple Hiring Managers simultaneously, providing attentive service to all.Maintain a knowledge base of industry trends and new developments.Manage candidates seamlessly through the interview process; set expectations, provide thoughtful feedback, negotiate and close all offers.Liaise with cross-functional leads to monitor progress against open positions and ensure recruiter efficacy.Establish, track, and analyze metrics and report on progress to business leadership proactively by maintaining recruitment tracking, optimizing existing reports where applicable.Own ongoing strategic development of recruiting processes: identifying competitive landscapes, providing insight on competitive benchmarking, defining candidate populations, and refining the employer brand.Provide day-to-day management and mentorship to the Talent Acquisition team.Efficiently and accurately maintain all Talent Acquisition tools and systems.Contribute to the development of new Talent initiatives, building supporting documentation when necessary.Qualifications
7+ years of experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment.Successful track record recruiting and filling marketing and/or advertising roles.In-depth knowledge of media landscape, and deep commitment to continued self-education.Experience managing recruiting staff to include coaching, performance reviews, problem resolution, process compliance, and reporting.Experience consulting, presenting, and communicating with executives and other key stakeholders.Demonstrated analytical, creative thinking, and negotiation skills.Previous experience working in complex, global businesses that demonstrates an understanding of how to effectively manage/balance cultural and organizational dynamic nuances.Highest level of integrity and ability to keep information confidential.Experience managing contract negotiation with recruiting agencies, job boards, LinkedIn, and other search vehicles.Additional Information
