The expectation for this mid-level position is to demonstrate the ability to creative problem-solving and designing marketing communication materials for business assignments.An Art Director develops and executes creative marketing ideas and materials to solve client business challenges. Shows competency in developing ideas and executions for creative product. Has a good sense for design fundamentals and visual aesthetics. Collaborates with a copywriter and other agency disciplines to generate ideas and create concepts that are on strategy, on brand and achieve client objectives.An Art Director should be curious, ambitious, open-minded, collaborative and showcase their creativity with both ideas and executions. They should be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of creative solutions for business problems while collaborating with others to learn and develop quality work that meets the needs of a project brief. Knowledge & Skills2-5 years of experience as a Jr Art Director or is currently an Art Director.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications.Skillful application of typography, layout and design principles.Able to communicate clearly, thoroughly and succinctly both verbally and in writing; can clearly articulate an idea.Shows ability to present work internally, rationalizing creative decisions to problem solving.Able to accept constructive feedback and apply in work.Additional Information

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
