Job Description

Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified Change Management Specialist to provide professional services and support to the Veteran Health Administration (VHA) Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) with direct support to the Product Effectiveness (PE) Professional Health Business Services. The Veterans Health Administration is America's largest integrated health care system, supported by approximately 300,000 employees providing care at 1,250 health care facilities, including 172 medical centers and 1,069 outpatient sites of care of varying complexity across the continuum, serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

Performing tasks that require the knowledge and skills for a multidisciplinary approach to managing change and transition within healthcare organizations, programs, and projects.

Developing plans associated with transition management, implementation of major initiatives, communications associated with major initiatives, risk assessment, and organizational transformation and culture change.

Completing change management assessments and change management strategy.

Identifying and managing anticipated resistance.

Creating actionable deliverables, such as a communication plan, roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, or resistance management plan.

Supporting and engaging senior leaders.

Supporting organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.

Integrating change management activities into project plan and evaluating and ensuring user readiness.

Managing stakeholders.

Tracking and reporting issues.

Defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress.

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree

Prosci Certified

Minimum of 6+ years' experience in healthcare on change management projects within a clinical and/or operational environment with a specific focus on business processes.

VA Credentialed / PIV Card

Experience with the application of Prosci and change management in a union environment preferred

Clearance:

Must possess a favorable NACI Background check and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
