Uplift Games is the studio behind Adopt Me, the premiere pet adoption game on Roblox (35B+ sessions, 1.92 million record CCU). We are seeking an Associate Producer to join our team, with a strong focus on Localization.As Associate Producer you will assist the Production team by primarily handling all text in the game and assigning these to our team of regional translators in a timely manner. You will also assist Producers with creating and handling Jira cards, updating any related documentation and selecting and working with vendors across the world to ensure high quality localizations. As we continue to release updates each month, you’ll help make sure any new strings are localized into all of our supported languages, along with providing general associate support for the Production team in general.It is essential that you value diversity and want to work alongside talented people from marginalized groups. The salary ranges shown below are full-time rates and will be pro rated to working hours.What You'll Be Doing
Manage localization projects and requests coming in from different stakeholders from inception to completion.Manage all in-game text including exporting to the localization framework.Make sure that source text and images are suitable for localization and are ready for assignments in a timely manner.Work with producers to discuss roadmaps and deadlines, ensuring that new updates are fully localized where necessary. Help test your localizations.Update/keep track of all upcoming releases using JIRA or other tools.Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to make sure that text and translations are delivered according to the agreed due dates.When necessary, work with other team members to localize text (e.g for regional social media posts, subtitles, news posts and other text).Monitor and handle the administrative side of projects, from reviewing freelance translators invoices to word count tracking and vendors’ availability.Document and maintain Production team processes and workflows.Your Background
