We provide solutions for clients across a range of industries, including renewables development, transmission, distribution, substation, ports and marine terminals, renewable energy and offshore oil and gas. Our team includes world-class technical experts and experienced engineers. We offer the opportunity to undertake projects that range from the smallest consultancy to world-scale developments. The full-time role can be located anywhere within 50 miles of a major airport since many projects will require continental travel.Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

Manage and lead economic analysis, such as renewable project feasibility studies for PV, Battery Storage, and Wind generation (On and Offshore)Model and analyze with industry-standard software, such as HOMER, XENDEE, PVSyst, PVCase, Helioscope, or equivalent softwareDesign layouts for large PV systems, using PVSyst etc.Support project interconnectionsProvide reviews of 30% complete Construction Designs ensuring electrical completionAnalyze large-scale power systems for major utilities, regional operatorsWrite and edit major reports and presentations for clients and executive management teamsPresent and communicate effectively with the client's senior managersPresent and participate in external stakeholders/public to defend the studiesAble to complete projects on time and within budgetInteract with senior management, clients, and contractorsProvide backup to proposals and cost estimates for projectsGrow business through project work and client relationshipsSupport new business development in pursuing new opportunitiesPublish conference papers and presentationsQualifications:

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Master's and/or MBA preferred)3+ years' experience in the utility industryExperience with industry-standard software, such as HOMER, XENDEE, PVSyst, PVCase, Helioscope, or equivalent softwarePE / PEng registration or the ability to be registered in the U.S.A proven track record and innovative approach to engineering solutionsKnowledge of Renewables (PV, Wind (On and Offshore), Battery), Microgrids, Interconnection requirements, standards, and interpretation for complianceStrong time management, organizational, and communication skills are essentialUp to 30% Travel may be requiredWorley is an equal opportunity employer and we create a working culture that embraces diversity and promotes inclusion and flexibility.
