This is a Monday-Friday role, 37.5 hrs/week. Schedule can be either 8 am - 4 pm, or 9 am - 5 pm!What You'll Do:As a Nursing Scheduler, you are a key contributor to quality of care, resident well-being, regulatory compliance, and the culture of our facility. Your efforts help create an environment where our nursing staff can thrive while delivering high-quality care.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the facility is optimally staffed 7 days per week - 24 hours per dayDevelop and maintain nursing staff schedules considering workload, qualifications, regulation compliance, and staff preferencesCollaborate with nursing leaders to optimize staffing makeup and budget impact including full-time, part-time, and per diem resourcesHandle scheduling conflicts, last-minute adjustments, and replacements as neededMaintain accurate records of staff attendance, PTO, vacations, and schedule changesCommunicate effectively with nursing staff regarding schedules and changesManage overtime and agency expense to achieve overall budget targetsIf you enjoy bringing many pieces together to create a perfect whole, we encourage you to consider joining our team as a Nursing Scheduler. Qualifications of a Nursing Scheduler include:Experience as a scheduler in a Healthcare or Long-Term Care setting is extremely valuedHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentStrong organizational, administrative, and time-management skillsAbility to handle dynamic scheduling needs and adapt to last-minute changesAbility to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPatience and the ability to relate tactfully and professionally with all staffAbility to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant and to remain calm during emergency situationsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion#Tier1We Hire for Heart!
