We strive to create a diverse and inclusive workplace, while seeking talented individuals to work with us across the many functions that will allow us to deliver new medicines to transform the lives of patients.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert, consistent, timely and varied support to internal colleagues and suppliers with a focus on ownership of critical contract management and purchase order tasks.Act as the lead Procurement contact for several functions, providing procurement and contract management expertise.Coach and mentor other Procurement Specialists to optimize process and software knowledge.Ensure accurate and timely completion of ‘Super Shopper’ tasks.Engage proactively with key stakeholders to ensure business strategy is understood.Work closely with Contracts Managers to ensure new contract requests are correctly recorded.Support the creation, negotiation and finalization of contractual documents.Contribute to corporate savings pipeline by identifying new efficiency opportunities.Anticipate and mitigate potential supply or supplier sourcing risks.Develop proficiency in Netsuite and Agiloft reporting functionality.Monitor process compliance and identify solutions for improvement.Advocate for corporate compliance initiatives and contract management process enhancements.Work closely with the Procurement Director to enhance department infrastructure.Assist with investigation of supplier invoice issues with AP team.Experience & Knowledge:Essential:Knowledge and application of key Finance and/or Procurement concepts.Experience working in a Procurement or Finance team.Strong communication, coordination and influencing skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Desirable:Knowledge of Agiloft, NetSuite and/or Amici.Evidence of continuous improvement mentality.Experience working in roles that require proactive identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities.Experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry.Education & Qualifications:Essential:5+ years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.Highly proficient computer skills in core Microsoft Office modules.Desirable:Bachelor's Degree.Key Behavioural Attributes:Openness and honesty.Taking responsibility.Flexibility.Team spirit.Attention to detail.Results oriented.Effective written and oral communication.Building collaborative relationships.Interpersonal awareness.Conceptual thinking.Positively embracing change.Persuasive communication.Initiative.
