Job Summary:
Briefly describe the major purpose or objective of the job.Provides exceptional guest service while maintaining a safe and secure environment at the Convention Center and adhering to guidelines set forth by management.Essential Functions:Greet all guests and staff to the Hawai‘i Convention CenterProvide customer service as neededVenue Check In:Ensure guests and employees comply with venue check in proceduresDirect all guests and staff through venue check in proceduresReport issues to security supervisorBase Monitor:Monitor security cameras to search for security related issues that need to be brought to the attention of HCC security staff.Assist Security Base Officer answering phonesAssist Security staff in checking in persons at deskRequired Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalencyA minimum of 0-1 years of related work experienceBasic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Demonstrated ability to follow departmental and company procedures accurately and efficiently.Required to have a professional, positive and friendly demeanor/attitude at all times to ensure the Hawai‘i Convention Center demonstrates Aloha and delivers exceptional customer service.Must be able to defuse situations by being communicative, courteous and empathetic with the ability to communicate clearly specific instructions and explanations.Must be able to work varied shifts, weekdays, weekends, holidays and additional hours as venue schedule requires.Must work harmoniously in a team setting exhibiting the “Aloha Spirit” to fellow workers, guests, clients and the community.Hourly rate of pay $19.00About Us
