The Launch and Missile Defense Systems division within Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Software Engineer. The position is located in Boulder, CO - Boulder is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and only 25 miles from downtown Denver. Position Overview:

As a Principal / Sr. Principal Systems Engineer on the ESL/BOA team, you will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing, deployment, and debugging of software applications. This includes researching, identifying, and implementing solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary software problems. Essential Functions:

New feature implementation that allows for smooth integration with pre-existing systems Software development using Agile Methodology Utilizing Jira to document bugs and enhancements Software engineering support for multi-language (C/C++, Python, and Java) and complex software systems Enhance usability, performance, and maintainability of systems via analysis and bug fixes Coordinate, integrate, and resolve defects in conjunction with the test team Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Engineer Systems Level 3 or a Sr Principal Engineer Systems Level 4. Level 3: Bachelors Degree in a STEM related discipline and 5 years of experience; Masters Degree and 3 years of experience Level 4: Bachelors Degree in a STEM related discipline and 9 years of experience; Masters Degree and 7 years of experience Experience in multi-language (C/C++, and Python) and complex software systems Experience Utilizing Jira to document bugs and enhancements Knowledge of Software development using Agile Methodology Current active Secret Clearance Required What We Can Offer You:

$107,300 - $160,900 $133,000 - $199,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
