The Content Strategist understands and appreciates both the big picture and the details involved in reaching the end goal. The Content Strategist also displays significant levels of responsibility and a strong ability to work independently. The Content Strategist executes work that supports the development of strong, profitable client relationships and often has direct personal connections with the client C-Suite through their work, representing the entire agency through their interactions.Requirements:

Strategic Thinking & Planning• Actively share recommendations, ideas and strategic points of view with teams• Develop creative plans and other documents for internal and client review• Display ownership of and passion for client projects, competitors, industry and subject matter, making proactive, strategic recommendations based on developing news and insights• Experiment with new ideas that will benefit client programs, agency marketing and new business efforts and iterate based on key findings and results• Understand the role integrated communications plays in the broader scope of the client’s business and is able to interact and collaborate with other client business leaders and partner agencies• Uncover the needs, wants, concerns and touch points of the target audience• Gather and synthesize category information, trends and issues using primary and secondary research• Provide strategic direction, insights and inspiration that fuels distinctive, compelling brand expression for our clientsContent Creation• Collaborate with the client, creative and account teams to produce great ideas and the words that bring them to life• Produce a large volume of written content including but not limited to short and long-form editorial content, bylines, social content, speeches, scripts, briefing books, award entries, and more• Create content for clients and projects that reflects a high-level understanding of each client project's basic needs and long-term strategy• Write advanced content that requires minimal edits by supervisors, demonstrating the ability to succinctly research and structure the content of these materials• Demonstrate a mastery of the media and social content spectrum, understanding the role that each publication, outlet and channel play in it, and uncover new content opportunities that relate to each client’s business• Ensure accuracy of grammar, spelling, punctuation and other style mechanics• Ensure documents conform to client brand guidelines/style guides and update as neededAccount Management• Establish trust, maintain strong client relationships and own editorial and content projects from start to finish• Prevent account issues by flagging potential problems with work to supervisors• Work with supervisors and establish and meet both internal and external project deadlines independently• Manage discrete projects and analyze results within the context of the overall program• Take additional responsibility for overseeing junior staff and supervising defined projects• Be able to advise and educate junior staff on areas of expertiseBusiness Development and Marketing• Assist in organizing new business presentations and developing agency marketing and thought leadership collateral• Conduct research and synthesize key insights to develop creative briefs• Develop agency POV on client challenges and business opportunitiesAdministrative• Display understanding of annual client budgets and billing• Know the economics of the businessKWT Global is currently operating in a hybrid work environment.
