Summary:
United Construction Services, LLC. is a general contractor and civil subcontractor that services the power, energy, and utility infrastructure markets. The Sr. Project Manager, Civil is responsible for the overall operation of the organization, including: Our team works on infrastructure, sewer/wastewater, water resources, roads, and underground utility systems. As the Director of Operations for United Construction Services LLC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our facilities and projects. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of all operational aspects, maintaining high standards of reliability, security, and service delivery while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the operations; Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with engineering and facilities management teams to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure. Interface with PM teams to manage project procurement, logistics, and operational costs. Implement best practices for safety programs, operational integrity, and vendor sourcing. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all physical offices, equipment, and fleet; Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize service delivery processes. Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets for colocation datacenter sites, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and financial targets. Monitor financial performance against budgeted targets, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions as needed. Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing teams of operational professionals, fostering their professional growth, development, and retention. Qualifications: Proven experience (7+ years) in project or operational departments for an infrastructure, civil, or site utilities company, with a track record of success in leading teams and/or driving operational excellence. Experience with P&L management and negotiating with vendors to contract signature. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries. Pay:
$90,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year depending on experience.
