Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology.Our team of speech language pathologists works to help infants, children, adolescents and adults reach their full potential in mobility, communication and daily living skills. They work with people who have difficulty producing speech sounds, such as rhythm and fluency problems, stuttering, voice disorders, cognitive communication impairments, or simply those who wish to improve their communication skills.As a Speech Language Pathologist at Straub, you have the opportunity to bring the gift of speech and rehabilitative speech therapy to patients suffering communicational challenges. Specifically, you will provide speech-language services and consultation for inpatients and outpatients at medical center locations and contract sites. Current Hawai‘i Speech Language Pathology license and current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card. American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification.Preferred Qualifications:
