Role Overview Reporting to the Franchise Owner, the General Manager will be responsible for a broad range of tasks relating to staffing and personnel, team management, sales and marketing, inventory oversight, customer service excellence, and financial performance of the center.
RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and oversee sales, design, production, and installation operations at FASTSIGNS of Secaucus. Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a motivated and skilled workforce. Conduct daily production meetings to ensure workflow efficiency. Manage the balance between work in progress and production capacity. Direct the installation schedule and ensure seamless execution. Organize staff and sales meetings to maintain team alignment. Address personnel issues discreetly and promptly. Uphold exceptional customer service standards and resolve any customer satisfaction concerns. Oversee inventory procurement and manage large custom orders. Support production with overflow work as necessary. Maintain the store's cleanliness, safety, and organization. Ensure proper center operations, including opening and closing procedures. Collaborate on the annual business plan and monitor its execution. Comply with all company policies and ethical standards. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS We are on the lookout for a General Manager with a background in the signage industry. Experience and understanding of signage is REQUIRED for this job. The ideal candidate thrives under tight deadlines and is eager to play a pivotal role in our continued success. High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferred. Supervisory/management experience. Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite. Must be able to deal with a variety of emotions when making business decisions, which requires emotional maturity and stability. Must be able to handle several projects concurrently using the full range of resources available. Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and resolve complex communication issues in a calm manner. Must be able to communicate and provide verbal feedback in a professional manner.
