OverviewSupports the growth and expansion of our ventures division. Serves as a key member of the team, identifies, evaluates, and executes new strategic partnerships and investment initiatives that align with our company's strategic objectives. Works closely with members of VNS Health's senior leadership team and will report directly to the Vice President, New Ventures.

Compensation:$30.71 - $38.41 HourlyWhat We Provide:Referral bonus opportunitiesGenerous paid time off (PTO), starting at 30 days of paid time off and 9 company holidaysHealth insurance plan for you and your loved ones, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life DisabilityEmployer-matched retirement saving fundsPersonal and financial wellness programsPre-tax flexible spending accounts (FSAs) for healthcare and dependent careGenerous tuition reimbursement for qualifying degreesOpportunities for professional growth and career advancementInternal mobility, generous tuition reimbursement, CEU credits, and advancement opportunitiesWhat You Will Do:Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential investment or partnership opportunities within the healthcare industry.Lead internal teams in company co-creation efforts with venture capital firms, venture studios, or entrepreneurs.Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement product roadmaps for new ventures and partnership initiatives.Support the identification of investments and venture partnerships that will accelerate VNS Health's strategic objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including venture capital firms, startups, industry experts, and potential partners.Perform end-to-end due diligence activities, including market analysis, financial analysis, and risk evaluation.Prepare presentations and investment memos for C-level executives and board members.Grow and maintain our internal tools, processes, and knowledge base across VNS Health.Collaborate with internal VNS Health stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and growth areas through ventures.Maintain our investment and co-creation portfolio through tracking latest valuations and strategic impact to VNS Health.Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.Execute on tasks independently with guidance from senior team members.Support portfolio management activities through growth planning with PortCo management teams.Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent work experience required.Master's Degree in business administration preferred.

Work Experience:Minimum of four years of work experience, with at least two years of banking, consulting, private equity, or early-stage investing experience required.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience in developing business plans and financial projections required.Experience within early-stage healthcare businesses, with a demonstrated understanding of how these businesses are built and what makes them successful required.Proven track record of successfully sourcing, negotiating, and executing strategic partnerships required.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization required.Team player with a can-do attitude required.Desire to learn and teach required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities required.Ability to flex between high-level thinking and detailed problem solving required.
