We are seeking a software engineer to aid in the development of our flagship product. The right candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing while prioritizing tasks, and able to work independently in a tight-knit but globally distributed team. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to not only be hands-on and actively leverage their advanced skills to maintain and extend our custom Linux distribution but they will also be excited about the opportunity to supervise the entire development process, from inception to release.Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain features for our OS software solutions, x86/x64, and ARM system programmingOptimize Raspberry Pi and embedded platformsProvide Level 2 and Level 3 DevOps supportSkills and Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required.Knowledge of Linux/embedded Linux (Linux drivers, kernel threads, kernel modules), embedded systems, operating systems, device drivers, ARM, hardware/software integrationTake ownership, be self-sufficientNot afraid of digging into new thingsLocation: San Francisco, CA (Full-Time Position)Salary: $122,000 per year
