THE RUNDOWNPlayfly Sports is looking for a Senior Director / Vice President, Corporate Partnerships to join our team in Los Angeles, LA.The primary responsibility of this position is to secure commercial revenue on behalf of Playfly Sports’ Premier Partnerships division, representing a portfolio of blue-chip sports & entertainment rights holders, including professional & collegiate teams, stadiums/arena, live events, and municipalities. The successful candidate will be an experienced, polished sales executive who is expected to consistently source, pitch, negotiate and close seven & eight figure partnerships across multiple client accounts, developing meaningful relationships with executive-level corporate decision makers that result in long term COI for our clients.What You’ll AccomplishManage Premier client accountsIdentifying and soliciting new corporate partnersCold call potential partnersIdentify new sponsorable inventoryConduct face-to-face sales meetings and presentationsMaintain and present client pipelinesDevelop sales presentations and proposalsTravel domestically or internationally to meet with new or existing clientsAssist in securing new clients for both property representation & consulting / valuation engagements.Provide support and development to junior sales staffOther job-related duties as assignedWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s Degree required7+ years of sales experience with a verifiable track record of success in sponsorship salesSolid network of high-level contacts with both brands and rightsholdersStrong sports industry knowledge, specifically as it relates to sponsorships/commercial revenue programsExcellent communication and presentation skillsProven account management experienceDetail oriented with strong organizational and interpersonal skillsMulti-task in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work solo or within a team atmosphereSports industry experience strongly desiredTravel, Lifting, Physical RequirementsThis role primarily takes place in an office settingOccasional domestic and international travel requiredCompensationThe base pay range for this role is $125,000 to $180,000 + commission. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
