PGIM Quantitative Solutions is looking for an Investment Associate / Senior Associate to work with their Multi-Asset Portfolio Management Team. The candidate should have strong technical skills, a passion for investments, a creative approach to problem solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This team follows a hybrid schedule with on-site expectations of 3 days a week in our Newark, NJ office. What you can expect: Assisting Portfolio Managers in the Multi-Asset team with implementation and execution of all dimensions of the investment process, including daily cash flow management, portfolio optimization, and ad-hoc investment research projects. Monitoring investment models and data, and providing input on recommended portfolio positioning. Compiling performance attribution metrics and contributing to commentary on market views, client presentations, and portfolio positioning. Working closely with portfolio managers and researchers to enhance our investment process. What you will bring: Individual should have an undergraduate degree in a quantitative field. A Master's Degree in finance or economics is preferred. 1-3 years of work experience in the financial industry. Hands-on experience with programming (preferably Matlab/Python/R and SQL). Solid understanding of financial derivatives (options, futures, forwards, or swaps). Direct exposure to trading and/or portfolio operations. Some experience with macroeconomic and statistical analysis. Proven strong work ethic, dedication to excellence, and unquestionable integrity. Proficiency with Excel / PowerPoint. What will set you apart: Progress toward a CFA. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas to internal user groups. Highly organized individual able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Independent problem-solving ability. The salary range for this role is from $140,000-$165,000. Specific pricing may vary based on geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. We look forward to receiving your application.
