Evaluate and manage all claims; work with broker to ensure proper settlement.Timely renew all expiring insurance policies; provide all necessary underwriting data to the broker and insurers; manage certificates of insurance and work with existing Evonik programs.Give insurance advice to internal clients (legal department, business units) on insurance and risk management matters.Work closely with broker on all insurance matters.Coordinate with broker, insurer, and third-party administrator with regard to all Workers’ Compensation claims.Make repair decisions on all physical damage fleet auto losses.Manage the premium allocation process to the Evonik businesses.Manage electronic file database of insurance policies, renewal activity, claims.Manage and train the Assistant Risk Manager; provide daily guidance, assign projects.Preside over Region Fleet Safe Driving Committee.Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in insurance or business administration.5-8 years of experience as Risk Manager.Possess sound judgment and ability to think objectively.Possess organizational skills and ability to execute plans.Adept at managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.Familiarity with risk management techniques and concepts.Must be able to communicate well verbally and in written form.Must have a high level of interpersonal skills.Self-motivated and capable of routinely managing work with minimal direction; excellent follow-up skills and ability to meet deadlines.Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility.Ability to initiate and coordinate projects.Your ApplicationTo ensure that your application is processed as quickly as possible and to protect the environment, please apply online via our careers portal.
