We are seeking an experienced and motivated contracts specialist with deep expertise in contract review, building processes and supporting a fast-paced company and legal environment. This role includes assisting with compliance and privacy projects, as needed. We are looking for someone who has experience working in a corporate setting preferably with a high-growth B2B company within the software as a service (SaaS) and Data as a Service (DaaS) space.You will work closely with our General Counsel and may liaise with our outside counsel as needed on various matters.Responsibilities and Duties:
Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts.Provide contract support for corporate commercial agreements, non-disclosure agreements, marketing, data provider and other vendor contracts.Manage the contracts lifecycle process for all agreements reviewed by the Legal team; maintain the existing contracts management system and assist in creating a more efficient in-house contracts management system—including document processing, electronic signatures, electronic filing, scanning, and data processing—ensuring all contracts are properly tracked, executed, and filed appropriately.Assist in the updating and further development of policies and procedures and other compliance requirements as part of Aidentified’s SOC 2 security and other internal corporate compliance programs.Assist with data privacy projects and related compliance requirements, as needed, ranging from updating the company’s privacy policy and notices and assist with managing the company’s data subject requests response process.Work with the General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer on special projects and initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors’ degree and/or an associate’s degree in paralegal studies at a minimum.3+ years of experience in a contracts specialist role, with at least 2 years within an in-house legal department.Entrepreneurial with a driven personality, not only highly analytical, detail-oriented and strategic, but also creative and hands-on in nature.Team player, someone who is approachable and enjoys solving problems with teammates.Experience with contract writing and review.Great interpersonal and communication skills are a must and proven experience in a collaborative, transparent, and hands-on environment.Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, finance, HR, operations, technology, and any other company teams.Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.Salary: $100,000 - $150,000Fully remote position.
