You will be collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to build, maintain, and test robotic cells for new and exciting applications of our AI robotics technology.AREAS OF FOCUS

Building and modifying robotic development cellsOperating and supervising AI-powered robotsPerforming preventative maintenance and repairs on robot stationsCollecting and analyzing data on system performance and component performanceBuilding subassemblies for testing and validationBuilding Production systems in-house for FATYOU WILL

Assemble, wire, and test electromechanical assembliesAssist with experimentation by running robot cells with different HW configurations or different SWManually operate robots to calibrate vision systems and other robot cell parametersConduct performance analysis of in-house cells in order to make iterations and preparations for deploymentsWork with SW Engineers and Research to find solutions and test new workstreamsPerform various prototyping tasks in the machine shopProvide feedback to engineering to improve designsMaintain world-class lab and shop areas.YOU HAVE

8+ years experienceProficiency with simple hand tools (Allen keys, screwdrivers) and power tools (hand drill, jig saw), electrical work & rapid prototypingProficiency with electrical assembly, wiring, cable routing, and debugging industrial control panelsProficiency with manual machiningProficiency with reading CAD drawings, electrical schematics, and technical product manualsPLC experience, Beckoff preferredFamiliarity with industrial automation components; robots, motors, pneumatics, sensors, etc.Ability to communicate and organize with people in a variety of rolesAbility to lift up to 50lbsAbility to learn quickly on the job, not afraid to try new things and pick up new skillsNICE TO HAVES

AS level degree or higher in Industrial/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalentProgramming experience in any language; python and ladder logic preferredProficiency with CAD software such as Solidworks, Onshape, AutoCAD, etc.Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 a yearBase pay is one element of our total rewards package which may also include comprehensive benefits and equity, depending on eligibility. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as years of relevant experience, skills, education, etc. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
