Responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and monitoring the Bank’s compliance programs, policies, and procedures. Partner with Human Resources to develop and coordinate a compliance training program and operate as a liaison between the Bank and regulators on compliance matters. Serves as the Bank's Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer.RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Essential job functions include but are not limited to:Manage the Bank's consumer compliance program.Implement new regulations or changes to existing regulations.Update and review bank policies and procedures based on regulatory changes, internal audits, and examinations by regulatory agencies.Establish and maintain an ongoing program for internal and external compliance training.Monitor resolution of consumer complaints.Prepare for regulatory examinations and ensure an adequate corrective action process.Serve as primary liaison with regulatory agencies and prepare all regulatory responses with support from all senior managers.Monitor all appropriate areas of the bank to determine the degree of compliance with various consumer laws, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and related rules.Manage the Bank’s Compliance Committee.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred.7 years of deposit and loan compliance experience with at least 5 years of management experience.Proven leadership skills.Excellent organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.The Bank is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and does not discriminate with regard to applicants or employees with disabilities, and will make reasonable accommodation when necessary.OneUnited Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
