Great opportunity exists as a Family Partner in our Adult and Child Crisis Intervention Services! Under the direction of the Program Director, the Family Partner works to provide information, support, assistance, and advocacy for recipients, and/or caregivers/family members of children and adolescent consumers of mental health emergency services. They will also provide feedback and perspective to the mental health system relative to the impact and effectiveness of the services provided, and to assist with other work related to client care, as required.

Aspire’s Crisis Services include the Adult and Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention program and are part of Aspire’s Community Behavioral Health Center. Crisis services are home and community-based services for children, adolescents, adults, and families in need of immediate psychiatric intervention.

Responsibilities:

Informs, trains, supports, and empowers child and adolescent clients and families/caregivers who directly or indirectly receive mental health Emergency Services

Respect clients’ confidentiality during all communications

Develop activities and resources that support clients and family/caregivers in achieving their goals

Provides assistance and completion of treatment interventions to individuals who serve

Provides individuals with a safe, supportive treatment environment and advocates for clients’ needs

Works effectively within a team milieu

Schedule:

Full Time: Tuesday - Saturday 11p - 7p or 12p - 8p

Part Time: Flexible

Per Diem available

Hourly rate:

$17.00

Required Skills:

Current or previous experience as a family member/caregiver of someone currently/formerly receiving mental health services.

One year experience in an acute mental health setting.

(preferred)

Must demonstrate the following characteristics: flexible, team player, ability to grow and learn in the position, ability to provide support and quality care to the wellbeing of individuals served.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
