leading the ongoing implementation/expansion of Epson's collaboration tools & solutions and ensuring overall end-state cohesiveness. Scope includes SharePoint, Teams, Yammer + other collaboration apps that are part of O365 and can also expand to other platforms outside the O365 ecosystem.This individual will be an integral part of the IS team responsible for fostering the continued growth and acceptance of collaboration tools/solutions across the organization and multiple stakeholders.This position can be based out of Epson America, Inc.'s headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA (70% remote) or it can be 100% remote.Principal AccountabilitiesIn addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Manage, architect and lead the design and implementation of new generation collaboration tools/solutions across the organization leveraging, but not limited to, applications in the O365 platform (MS SharePoint, MS Teams, Yammer, etc).Develop standards, governance principals, frameworks and adoption methodologies for new generation collaboration tools.Ensure overall coherence and cohesiveness of solutions that are intuitive in nature for end-users and highly scalable.Develop clear usage guidelines on the purpose and function of each collaboration tool and how to effectively use multiple tools together.Work closely with various stakeholders to identify opportunities with existing systems and processes where collaboration tools can greatly improve ways of working across the organization.Work closely with various stakeholders to define and document requirements and analyze business needs to design and gain approval for holistic solutions.Lead configuration, development efforts and testing of new generation collaboration tools as required with focus on effective reuse and efficiency across solution sets.Work closely with IS Management and key business stakeholders to effectively drive organizational design and change.Implement solutions that follow best practices and abide by Epson security guidelines.Enable the organization to adapt and leverage ongoing deployment of new generation collaboration tools and continued platform improvements.Resident expert on O365 collaboration applications and overall product direction, with a good understanding of the Microsoft roadmap.What do we require from you?5+ yrs experience successfully delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support for new generation collaboration tools, with focus on Microsoft O365 applications such as SharePoint Online, MS Flow, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, and MS Project Online. Power BI experience is a plus.Strong working knowledge of Office365/SharePoint Online from user, admin, and management perspectives.Advanced SharePoint administration including Search, Enterprise Content Management (Content Type Hub), business connectivity and Record Center.Must also have an understanding of document and records management concepts and techniques.Experience migrating data from other content management systems to SharePoint and from SharePoint to SharePoint.Strong ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.Proven track record creating successful adoption plans for new collaboration technology across a wide and diverse organization.Works well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, and is a self-motivated, results-driven, and well-organized individual.Epson America, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability and protected veteran status, as well as any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.Nearest Major Market:
