This is a per diem/casual position working 8-hour day shifts. No nights or weekends. Located at Scripps Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. You will float to various departments within that site.

What you'll do:Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.Many departments will be more administrative (on computers/phones) and amount of face-to-face patient interactions will vary.Float to various departments based on need. Departments include Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Urogynecology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Neurology, Gynecologic Oncology, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Vascular, Diabetes/Endocrinology, Nephrology, Infectious Disease, Pulmonology & more.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:CA RN licenseAmerican Heart Association BLSADN or Nursing DiplomaPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Nursing2-3 years outpatient RN experience
