DevOps Manager w/ Cyber Security Experience

Tech Florida Open to residents of AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IA, NY, TN, TX, VA, and WI Ygrene is looking for a DevOps engineer with cybersecurity experience to join our team and help us deliver high-quality software solutions to our customers. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that enable quality releases, on-time delivery, and deployment of our software products. You will also collaborate with other engineers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

Build and manage the infrastructure and platforms that support our software development and delivery processes. Automate and optimize the workflows and pipelines for code integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or incidents related to the software development and delivery environments. Implement and enforce best practices and policies for DevOps, such as code reviews, documentation, version control, and configuration management. Research and evaluate new technologies and tools that can improve our DevOps processes and capabilities. Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cyber threats and comply with industry standards and best practices. Develop and implement a cybersecurity plan. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or a similar role. At least 1 year of experience in cyber security or a related role. Proficient in one or more scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Bash. Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools, such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Swarm. Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, firewalls, VPNs, etc. Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk. Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Familiarity with language tooling for Ruby, Scala, Angular, and Go. Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL. Experience with firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, load balancers, monitoring, security, and DNS. Ability to troubleshoot issues in highly complex network setups.
