SUMMARY: The Senior Scientist will act as a technical lead in developing and characterizing highly productive stable CHO cell lines suitable for cGMP biotherapeutic manufacturing within project timelines. Applies advanced engineering and scientific principles (e.g., targeted integration, expression vector engineering, host cell engineering) to significantly enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and timeline. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in: Cell engineering Molecular cloning Expression vector design and construction Stable transfection Single cell cloning Clone selection and characterization Exceptional skills in independently designing and conducting cell line development studies. Advanced understanding of cell engineering, gene expression, and IP landscape of novel technologies in cell line development. Capable of setting up working spaces for cell line development lab and working effectively in teams. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Qualifications: Degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biological Engineering, or related scientific disciplines. BS with 10 years’ experience, MS with 8 years’ experience, or PhD with 3 years’ experience in cell line development within a pharmaceutical process development group. The pay range Tanvex reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $105,400 and $126,500. Individual compensation varies depending on the candidate’s education and experience.
