NoDuties and Responsibilities

Assist the Content Development Team with the development and execution of video, graphic design, and social media content for the Loyola Athletics Department.Help produce in-game video and graphics content to create an engaging fan experience to drive ticket sales and leverage sponsorships.Assist with the design and execution of creative content consistent with brand strategy to drive and enhance revenue through fan engagement, brand awareness, and sponsorship strategy.Monitor and analyze social media analytics to inform Loyola strategy and best practices.Coordinate pre and post-production of video and graphics projects, including scripting, audio recording, lighting, and posting to digital/social media/website platforms.Provide game-day support as videoboard operator/director for Loyola Athletics events or as social media manager, as needed.Assist in the creation and delegation of a social media content calendar.Other projects and duties as assigned.Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Sports Management, or related field required. One to three years of experience working in new media platforms in a professional setting.Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization. Preferred fields of study include TV/Broadcast Production, Graphic Design, Media Studies, Marketing, or related fields.Previous work experience in collegiate athletics, preferably with a Division I Creative Services Team.Experience in digital media, graphic design, or production roles for an athletic department, conference office, or sports team/brand.Video production experience, with knowledge of video camera operation, filming techniques, 3D video animation, and editing using Adobe Creative Cloud and Final Cut Pro X software.Graphic design experience with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including but not limited to Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, etc.).Experience creating social media content that enhances exposure and brand awareness.Working knowledge of content posting related to social media, YouTube, Vimeo, websites, and podcasts.Effective oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Certificates/Credentials/Licenses
