A Director & Head of Academics is tasked with serving as the “face” of the Academy, leading TPH in business operations, recruiting strategy, and the individualization and customization of the Academy’s blended learning experience for the aspiring-elite student-athletes who Study, Train, and Play with us. Thanks to TPH’s sports training and performance partnerships with Sportsplex West and D1 Training, this very important team member will be able to make the Academy classroom their domain, and play a critical role in the development and advancement of the next generation of impact players.
Housed inside the brand new state-of-the-art
Gregg Young Auto Sports Campus at Norwalk Central,
TPH Academy will be open to 6-12 grade student-athletes from across Central Iowa, regardless of what field, turf, court, or ground sport they play. Our Norwalk, IA location will be the first true multi-sport Academy in the 22 year history of TPH that does not feature hockey in year one.
If you have a background in sports, or at least a passion for mentoring student-athletes in the classroom, coupled with experience in business and education, this role may be tailor made for you.
Position comes with a competitive salary based on experience with the opportunity to earn performance incentives. This is a year-round position and comes with a full benefits package. The preferred start date is between 2/1/24 and 3/1/24, but flexibility could be granted for the ideal candidate.
