We are looking for an Associate Scientist to work from our offices in the Mira Mesa part of San Diego. In this role you will be focused on supporting product development, R&D to Operations transfer, and preparation and execution of V&V studies in a lab focused on molecular diagnostics. Experience with laboratory documentation such as writing SOPs, protocols, and reports is a plus.
To be successful in this role, you should have 2+ years of experience in a similar environment, preferably in diagnostics. You should have experience with scientific techniques, specifically PCR. Experience with Manufacturing/Operations and hands-on experience with V&V studies are a plus.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $70,000-$85,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
