Job Responsibilities
Ability to lead multiple crews and varying crew sizesUnderstand the contract drawings and documents on every jobBe a leader and mentor to the crewsPush works schedules expeditiouslyMeet with Triangle Constructor Field Manager to review the project and go over the job binderAM and PM HuddleMaintain daily logsWork towards beating the projected hours of labor while at the same time, turn in a good project with zero reworkReduce Punch List and Warranty ItemsBe at the job site well in advance of the crews starting to lay out the day’s workBe the last one to leave assuring the job site is clean and organizedMonitor the crew’s arrivals and departures for the dayBe diligent about keeping the break times and lunch times and ensuring the crew is following employee handbook/operations manual guidelinesCheck work along the way to ensure it’s up to code and specificationsHave full construction knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices.Job Requirements and Skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalencyCompleted Carpentry Apprenticeship/Training is preferredWillingness to follow safety guidelines at all timesProven experience of a minimum of 10 years in general construction and carpentry3 years minimum in a leadership roleProvides leadership and guidance to laborers and carpenters with efficiency and driveStrong knowledge of carpentry methods, tools and materialsProficient in using electric and manual equipment and toolsExpert in reading documents and blueprints
