Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to join our team as a Robotics Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and operating Fanuc robotic systems, coupled with proficiency in Siemens S7 PLC programming. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing robotic automation solutions to enhance manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Fanuc Robot Programming:Develop and implement robotic programs using the Fanuc robot programming language (Karel or TP) to automate various manufacturing tasks.Create and modify robot trajectories, motion paths, and tool paths for optimal performance and cycle time reduction.Integrate peripheral devices such as sensors, end-effectors, and vision systems into robotic applications.Troubleshoot and debug robot programs to ensure accurate and reliable operation.Siemens S7 PLC Programming:Design and program Siemens S7 PLC systems for automation and control of production equipment.Develop ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text code to achieve desired automation outcomes.Integrate PLC-controlled processes with robotic systems to achieve seamless coordination between the two.System Integration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and production personnel to develop integrated automation solutions.Interface robotic systems with other manufacturing equipment, ensuring smooth communication and synchronization.Laser sensor and Vision Camera system experience added advantage.Process Optimization:Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement.Implement continuous improvements to robotic and automation systems to enhance productivity and quality.Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation of robot programs, PLC code, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate project progress and results.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.Proven experience (2 years) in programming and operating Fanuc robotic systems, including a strong understanding of Fanuc robot programming language (Karel/TP).Proficiency in Siemens S7 PLC programming, including experience with ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text programming.Solid understanding of automation principles, robotics, and industrial control systems.Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to design automation solutions that align with production requirements.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.Detail-oriented approach to programming, testing, and documentation.Preferred Skills:Experience with other robot brands and programming languages.Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet) for seamless integration.Familiarity with safety standards and practices in industrial automation.Join Our Team: If you are a motivated engineer with a passion for automation, robotics, and process optimization, we invite you to apply for this exciting role.
