This role provides expert legal assistance in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions while offering comprehensive guidance to employers on all aspects of the employment relationship.Duties:Provide legal counsel on employment-related issues during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.Advise employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, employee handbooks, and other documents.Conduct legal research and prepare written opinions on complex employment law matters.Represent clients in employment-related disputes and litigation, including mediation and arbitration.Assist in developing and implementing employment policies and procedures.Stay updated on changes in employment law and industry trends to provide relevant and proactive legal advice.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure comprehensive client support.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of broad-based employment counseling experience.Demonstrated experience in handling employment issues related to mergers and acquisitions.In-depth knowledge of employment law and regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Expertise in employment law, including litigation, counseling, and transactional matters.Proficiency in drafting and negotiating employment-related documents.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and carefully handle sensitive information.
