Architect and develop front end web applications, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC’s)Given an initial set of functional requirements and wireframes, develop technical specifications, and project test plansBe the technical subject matter expert (SME) for Angularjs and the project front end effort. Mentor fellow developers in these aspects, demonstrating technical expertise, and solving challenging programming and design problemsRoughly 60-80% hands-on coding. We have a designer for the CSS3/HTML5 workGenerate technical documentation and PowerPoint presentations to communicate architectural and design options, and to educate development teams and business usersResolve defects during QA testing, UAT, production, and post-release patchesWork with a cross-functional team including product management, business analysts, QA, stakeholders and business unitsDemonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant, web appsMaintain all work in a SVN version control repositoryExperience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologiesQualifications
You are results oriented and want to be measured by the business value you contribute by turning functional requirements into operational code.5+ years of professional development on a commercial component or product5+ years’ experience building world class, public facing web applications.Extensive knowledge of and experience in JSON, RESTful Web Service Calls, XML, SOAP Web Service Calls, all in the context of AngularjsExperience in large scale single page applicationsExperience and understanding of service oriented architectures (SOA), Object Oriented Design/Development, Continuous Integration.Understand Security within Web Service conceptsKnow REST, SOAP, and XML/JSON business object representations.Expertise in N-Tier and MVC frameworks.Able to work in an Agile SDLC using scrum methodology.Ability to handle a fast paced environment for iterative project turnarounds on mission revenue critical, customer facing applications and websites.BS or MS in Computer Science or relevant experienceWe're fun, you be funEqual Opportunity Employer
