Advanced Resource Technologies, Inc. (ARTI) is currently recruiting for an

Intelligence Analyst

in support of a contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The position is full-time, exempt. Start date is immediate, based on award of DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD). SUMMARY Working in the Threat Management Operations (TMO) is comprised of the Internal Security Division (ISD), Insider Threat Division (ITP), and the Center for International Safety and Security (CISS). The ISD conducts complex investigations for the protection of classified information and potential violations of law. ISD’s Cyber Forensics Lab provides OCSO the capability to conduct investigations of electronic media. The Insider Threat Division includes the Insider Threat Operations Center (ITOC) that serves as the front-line defense against internal threats to classified networks. The CISS is responsible for executing the DHS’s Foreign Access Management mission and screens, tracks, correlates, and analyzes official foreign access to the U.S. Government. CISS includes the Technical Surveillance Countermeasures function with the capability to detect surveillance devices within DHS and other locations. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and research authorities, directives, policies, and various ancillary sources in support of ongoing or emerging intelligence/security program or project requirements. Project data to assess future situations in emerging or highly complex areas where new methods and approaches are required. Prepare highly complex reports addressing multiple factors impacting single or multiple focus areas including evaluation and interpretation of findings incorporating long-range planning targets and identification of actual and potential problems. Develop and project data, draw conclusions, and estimate probabilities using judgment and ingenuity based upon knowledge of current and past intelligence situations, and an understanding of the significance of conditions and trends in pertinent portfolios. Conduct threat collection through debriefing, interviews, and elicitation in a systematic manner through direct and indirect questioning to obtain information on security, insider threat, counterintelligence, investigatory, and/or intelligence value. Prepare accurate and complete reports that document processes, outcomes, and findings. Conduct Foreign Access Management (FAM) training and awareness for DHS personnel, partners, and stakeholders, and develop, plan, coordinate, and evaluate counterintelligence training events specific to addressing customers’ needs and requirements. Conduct assessments in a risk management context to protect against intelligence activities. Analyze potential threats and vulnerabilities, determine the level of risk, and develop and recommend appropriate mitigation countermeasures and strategies that protect intelligence susceptible vulnerabilities of DHS critical infrastructure and key resources. Coordinate DHS FAM Program and intelligence-related security operations with DHS components to promote cooperation and effective collaboration. REQUIREMENTS Associates degree with 8 years of experience. Knowledge of DHS Component intelligence missions and the role of both raw and finished intelligence reporting in the relationship between DHS, state and local governments, and the Intelligence Community. Knowledge of the terminologies, methodologies, research, and analytical techniques applied to highly complex assignments in intelligence collection and analysis. Knowledge of a wide range of foreign threats and counterintelligence techniques used in protecting DHS against espionage and other intelligence activities. Knowledge of foreign access management and counterintelligence principles, policies, procedures, and organizations with a CI mission. Mandatory Requirement:

Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information, Top Secret-SCI.
