As a member of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, the incumbent is tasked with upholding and exemplifying excellence in the University's core competencies-- job mastery, goal accomplishment, enterprise contribution, and innovation-- while representing the Manager, Chair, and Department to the campus. Please, join us!Responsibilities:Develop and implement a specialized physical therapy program for the Dance Department. Perform physical therapy evaluations and deliver individualized treatment techniques.Perform osteopathic manipulative treatments.Collaborate and consult with Faculty and Medical providers regarding appropriate utilization of physical therapy. Develop and conduct physical therapy investigations on integrative physical therapy practice and interventions. Required:Master or Doctoral preparation in physical therapy from a recognized college or university with an accredited physical therapy program Current Basic Life Support Certification.Clinical internship experience in integrative or holistic physical therapy techniques and/or modalities including neuromuscular field awareness and Neuromuscular field retraining.Experience developing and conducting physical therapy research Demonstrated ability to provide educational presentations.Demonstrated experience conducting training for physical therapy and/ or integrative physical therapy approaches.Recent (2 years) experience clinical experience as a physical therapistClinical experience/ or ability to develop competency for Osteopathic Manipulative treatment techniques within 6 mos. of hireDemonstrated experience and specialized knowledge in the integrative practices of Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi and/or Qui Gong.Current California Physical Therapist License

Preferred:Recent (within 2 years) physical therapy continuing education classes in osteopathic manipulative treatment, holistic physical therapy approaches, integrative physical therapy approaches.
