steward.orgNurse Manager - Full-time 40hrs/wk, day shift, no holidays/weekends required.Job SummaryThe Nurse Manager is a management/leadership position responsible for promoting patient-centered care.Accountable for the unit's operations and patient care outcomes.Entry-level leadership position overseeing 64 beds across 2 units.Reports directly to the Psych Director.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Nursing required / Master's degree preferred.Certification in Nursing preferred.Minimum 5 years Inpatient acute care Psych experience.Strong communication skills and ability to manage budget.Current license to practice Nursing in Massachusetts and BLS certification.Responsibilities/Essential Functions:Provides superior customer service to internal and external clients.Develops and maintains clinical practice standards.Participates in unit-based CQI activities.Collaborates with other departments for patient care.Promotes interdisciplinary collaboration in patient care management.Steward Health Care is proud to be a minority, physician-owned organization.
