Psychiatrist

The psychiatrist will assume medical responsibilities for all medical treatments of Saginaw Psychological Services’ clients and will work in tandem with the multi-disciplinary team. It is the responsibility of the psychologist to provide assessments of each client to determine the most effective treatment plan. The psychiatrist works in the agency’s mental health counseling center and may have a caseload of clients with varying diagnoses which none will be discriminated against.Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for clients.- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for clients.Requirements

- Must possess a valid medical license.Skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Experience

- Previous experience in a mental health setting preferred.Education

- Doctorate in Psychiatry or related field.License and/or Certificate
