We are seeking a dedicated and proactive

Building Envelope Project Manager

with specialized expertise in waterproofing and envelope consulting for various systems. The successful candidate will oversee project management and assist in the creation of construction documents, details, and specifications for both remedial design and new construction consultation.Key Responsibilities:Manage a diverse range of building enclosure projects throughout all phases of development, including design, construction, and post-construction evaluations:Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to stay on track.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met:Facilitate regular meetings with project teams to review design plans, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project objectives.Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals.Ensure effective communication and coordination among all project participants.

Conduct site inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes:Perform regular on-site visits to monitor construction activities and verify adherence to design specifications and quality standards.Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies encountered during construction.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.

Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients:Offer expert advice on building enclosure systems, materials, and best practices.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems that arise during project execution.Educate clients and project teams on the latest industry trends and innovations.

Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project progress and completion:Maintain comprehensive project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.Prepare and present project status reports to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in architecture, engineering, or construction, with substantial field experience being highly advantageous.Experience related to building enclosures, roofing, or waterproofing is also preferred.A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.Advanced technical knowledge of roofing and waterproofing system design, installation, and materials applicable to commercial, institutional, and multi-family structures.Experience with curtain walls, stucco, metal panels, and other building cladding systems.Strong critical thinking skills, effective time and resource management, and exceptional interpersonal abilities.Skills:A degree in Architecture or Engineering (preferred).Registration as an Architect or Engineer (preferred).LEED Accreditation (preferred).Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and Revit (preferred).Competence in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.Experience in drafting specifications.Familiarity with waterproofing across all building enclosure systems.Experience with construction documents and contract administration.The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
