To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.As an Android Engineer on the Habituation Team, you will build new, differentiated products that improve riders' experience with rideshare and make it easy to choose Lyft for their transportation needs every time. As an engineer on our team, you'll work hand in hand with various teams across Lyft, fostering collaboration and driving innovation to help make Lyft the right choice for riders.Responsibilities:
Design, develop, deploy, monitor, operate and maintain existing or new elements of our Rider applicationHelp establish roadmap and architecture based on technology and our needsWrite well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable codeAnalyze our internal systems and processes and locate areas for improvement/automationCollaborate with product org stakeholders to execute on projectsProvide thoughtful code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledgeShare your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, and promoting appropriate tech and engineering best practicesLead features from idea to successful executionUnblock, support and communicate with internal partners to achieve resultsExperience:
Minimum 2 years of software engineering industry experienceExperience with KotlinExperience with Jetpack Compose, declarative UI development, and creating shared componentsFamiliarity with current design and prototyping tools (Figma, etc.)Experience with architecture paradigms like unidirectional and reactive programmingAbility to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, and cross-functional team.Benefits:

Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
